Give it to Daddy

Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). - Psalm 55:22

Do you lay your burdens down at the feet of Jesus? Or do you like to spend useless time worrying about what will happen, and trying to make things happen?

I find this Scripture encouraging. The Lord wants me to release my burdens. He will hold me up and help me through! He will NOT let anything overtake me! I just need to believe it and actively cast it on Him. That is the key to the promise. As with all of God's promises, there is a doing.

God loves His children. He love YOU. You are the apple of Daddy's eye! He wants you to take your burdens, doubts, fears, anxieties, to Him...and LEAVE them there. He is MUCH stronger, smarter, and better equipped to handle them. So GIVE them to Him...He WANTS you to! His Word TELLS you to!

Cast your Burdens on the Lord!

Common Burdens

• marriage problems
• addictions
• financial troubles
• sickness
• loss
• sorrow
• fear
• worry
• ever feel like all hope is gone

The List could go on and on and on....

Casting the whole of your care, all of your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. - 1Peter 5:7

One word stands out for me...ALL!

Cast them all. All your burdens. All your cares. All you fears. Everything. He wants it all. Did you get that? ALL of it!!!

Let's pray;

Daddy God, thank You for releasing me of my burdens. I am laying them down before You right now. I cannot hold them any longer. I do not have the strength to carry this load any longer. I am taking You at Your Word. I am casting my burdens on You! Help me to leave my burdens at Your feet. Help me to never pick them up again. THANK YOU! I love You and I am in awe...yet again...of Your awesome and wondrous Love, Mercy, and Compassion for me! Thank YOU for loving me! In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
