Princess Mentality

Are you a princess? I was...and still am at times!

I don't know about you ladies, but marriage can be very hard! LOL
How do we love...How do we put on a happy face...How do we accept them the way they are...How do we respect them...

All...when they are selfish, disrespectful, and insensitive to us?

Good Question!

Answer: Because God did it for us!

Have you ever...

• neglected God?
• acted rude
• been selfish
• insensitive

uh...sinned?

LOL...we have a warped thought process...we think that others let us down...we think that others need to meet OUR needs...we think others are the ones with all the problems...and if we could just fix them...or if God would fix them for us...then all would be well in the world.

HA!

Been there...done that...and guess what?

It DOES NOT work! LOL!

We need to take the mirror...turn it around...and take a good long look at the face looking back. Then repent. And, finally, ask God to work in us...change us...help US!

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. - Proverbs 31:10-12

Does your husband shine because of you?

Or have you sinned like me...and been a princess on a power trip?

Remember, we ARE all princesses...HOWEVER, we are called to be princesses for the King...and that is a selfLESS postion...not a SELFish one!

Let's pray;

Daddy God, Thank You for Your love and forgiveness in my life. Help me to forgive and love others...especially my husband the way You have loved and forgiven me. Help me...show me how to be the wife You created me to be. Help me to help my husband shine! THANK YOU, Daddy. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
